We offer a team-based approach to primary care where we work in collaboration with other network doctors to cover clinic hours and participate in community hospital care at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital.

Looking to join the Shoreline Medical team?

Shoreline is looking for a physician to practice share with Dr. Mark Sherman – a long time family doctor practicing in Brentwood Bay.

Mark has a diverse clinical practice ranging from young families to seniors care. Chronic disease management, mental health care, minor procedures and hospital work create an interesting and diverse clinical experience. Shoreline Brentwood Bay has a warm and collegial group of health practitioners on our multidisciplinary team, including students, residents, family doctors, a physiatrist, RNs and a pharmacist. Our MOA team, clinic and billing managers, allow our physicians to focus upon clinical care while administration is expertly taken care of.

The specifics of the practice share are as follows:

• 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off working at Shoreline Brentwood (minimum 4 days per week whilst you are working)
• shared patient panel of 800+ patients
• shared chronic disease management/complex care incentive fees
• inpatient care of panel patients at Saanich Peninsula Hospital

The Brentwood Bay clinic offers:

1. 12-room family practice and walk-in clinic
2. 10 Family Physicians
3. 1 RN
4. MedAccess EMR
5. team of experienced MOA to support your work
6. Physiatrist and Clinical Pharmacist

This is an opportunity to be part of a team and experience a well run primary care clinic, provide longitudinal care and enjoy the diversity of working in the community hospital.

Management of the clinic is provided by the Shoreline Medical Society, a non-profit organization that partners with interdisciplinary health care providers and the community to deliver: patient-centred care, hospital/community continuity of care, education and a healthy life-work balance for our team.

Overhead Split for In Clinic Billings: 28-35% (varies on amount MSP billing).
