Cairnsmore Place has a hair salon, tuck shop, outdoor courtyards, living room, private dining space, exercise room and bathing rooms.

Cairnsmore Place is in a quiet residential neighbourhood at the end of a cul-de-sac. Areas around the building are fairly flat with lots of sidewalks and within walking distance to a small grocery store and an elementary school. The acute care hospital is approximately 0.5 km away.

We offer a large wheelchair accessible bus that takes our residents shopping, out to community events, and picnics. Special holidays and events are also celebrated.

Cairnsmore Place has a designated smoking area, in the grounds gazebo at the front of the building. Residents who smoke are required to do so independently or with a personal companion in designated areas.
As a health care provider, Island Health has an obligation to promote good health practices. We are committed to ensuring a safe, healthy and clean environment for everyone. Smoking and vaping is not permitted on any Island Health property. This includes all buildings, grounds and parking lots.
